    Hi Woody,
damn ! seems a Corbyn's one ! But the reason is good. Good idea to use one of these large in that fields.

You can mount it on a 4wd front or back and just drive for nuggets !

There are big big nuggets in that places...and who knows !? It could be the right thing to go for them!

I wish you'll be lucky with this.

    Kind regards,
    Max

How big is that coil, and what is the smallest nugget which it could probably detect?

Coil is 30 inches diameter and will pick up 1 Oz and above, in heavy mineralised ground it picks up a 13oz nugget at 4 ft. That is using a much modified SD2000 detector.

              Hi,
I think that the idea is to suspend the coil on front or back of a 4WD and drive for nuggets !

It works. But often require years. I know that someone found a very huge nugget in a US desert that way... and don't using of course the state of the art technology of today.

But required years of search and tons of gasoline !

But australian gold fields maybe require a few months to show a big one... think at this.

              Best regards,
              Max

                Excellent detection depth!
Don't you send the SD2000 schematic at this forum?

What SD2000 Schematic? No such thing exists except in the fire proof safe at Minelab.. and maybe ###### and ##########or the back of Bruce's dunny door
