  • 12 inch Ellipitical help please

I have a Minelab Supersearch 12 inch ellipitical that I am trying to identify. Serial # is L590. It has a standard 5 pin plug. All I'm getting is R readings across some of the pins. No Inductance readings. Not sure if its a mono or DD.

    pins 1-2 4.70R
    pins 1-3 4.70R
    pins 2-3 .25R

Any help would be appreciated as I have already contacted ML with no response.

Thanks for answering me IBgold, but I'm confused as to what you are trying to explain to me. I do not understand what you mean by center. My connector has no center pin. Just 5 along the outside. I pulled the connector apart so that I can see the wires. This is what I have.

      1-green
      2-white
      3-twisted shield
      4-blue
      5-red

      Thanks!

What I mean by centre is the coax centre conductor, For DD coax cable you have a RX centre conductor and a shield and a TX centre conductor and shield I am of coarse talking about coils for the SD/GP series of detectors I hope this solves the problem I could email the plug diagrams to you direct if that helps . Regards IBGold

Mystery solved! It's a DD vlf coil for an xt17000, xt18000 or the eureka gold. Thanks again for the input!

            My above post is incorrect!

This coil is for a GT16000, FT16000, Musketeer, Sterling and a few other older machines. It will not work on the 17000 18000 or Eureka gold!
