    Hi.
    I have a XLT Coil that have problem with the shielding.
    Does any knows a good way to open it without to destroy it ????

    hi geo,
    if you have the problem with shielding why you so necessarily need in the opening??? IMHO you can carefully pink a box (deeply!) near a cable input by your tester (sharp) probe and measure IS THERE A RESISTANCE OR NOT, between with the cable shield. remember that you must do it on both covers/parts of coil - on bottom and on top.

      Thanks KT315. The problem is that when i touch the coil cable then i have beeps. If i connect a new coil the problem is disapeared
      I will try your solution

        I think your problem is not in shield... try clean up and bend contacts in connector.

            if you thing the conector is fault - cut the cable near to connector than you can the rings the pins

                if you cut the connector .... ringing - to know which wire on which pin are in the connector ...
