Lobo's elliptic coil

Hi all

I would like built a elliptic DD coil for lobo about 25x12 cm.
I have draw 2 different designs and would like know which is, in yours opinion,the best arrangement.

Thanks for answer.
I was Thinking at #2 instead, i suppose it can have a better pinpoint but not sure.
In the past i built differents DD as #1 but not all work in good way.

If you want better front-to-back coverage, go with #1. If you want better pinpointing and better operation in bad ground, go with #2.
