Does anyone know if the WHITES BLUE MAX 600 COIL is compatible with Whites DFX?

I need this for a friend of mine who has this coil and the Whtes DFX.

WHITES BLUE MAX 600 COIL

The Blue Max 600 , is a 6.595 khz "single frequency" . It will not work for the DFX , sorry !!!! It can be used on many other Whites models , which include the Classic I.D. and the 6000 xl pro................Regards...........Eugene

NOT. BM600 and another 6,59 kHz coils work on parallel LC resonanse principle base. that is resonanse of VOLTAGE if you are in course.
Whites DFX coils are not basing on a resonance. it is simple L.

DFX coil is more universal because is able to work whichever different frequency is. by another word DFX coil (and similar to) is modern conception coil, 6,59kHz is oldie one.
his BM600 will be VERY great for projects like to TGS, Classic, Fisher-1266, Montana, etc. that people like it to re-build in this forum.

Nelson , It is not all bad news . He can give the coil to you for your workbench . Blue Max 600 would be a great I.B for testing your Metal Detector prototypes . Remember the famous saying ?? One man's junk is another man's Treasure .......................Eugene
