      The wire that you attached a picture of is indeed brass wire made for use in hobby jewelry making. The cost of that brand of wire is considerably more than buying a spool of enamel coated copper magnet wire.

        yes, but if it work better, say a lower resistance per foot, and help our coils work better, who cares. I for one dont care about price unless it is really out of this world as long as it makes my stuff work better. Say for instance i could get 2 more inches in depth, for just a little more cost, i would do it. But your right,i also bought a built sm pro to start on, and have a mini pulse beach coming from andy, now i need to watch your vid again on the coil build so i can build my first one, you where getting really good depth on the one you built i think i saw.

          Copper is the better conductor between the two.
