Pulse Star II

Yesterday i got a Pulse Star II Pro metal detector at only U$$500 box.
The detector comes with the 1 X 1 meter coil and is working excelent.
I measure the coil inductance (341 uH) and resistance 18 ohms.
Now i ll like to build a coil for coing hunting, any ideas?

About inductance and resistance, i took measures with a good instrument today, and now i think the readings are ok, 147 uH and 1.9 ohms, for the 1 by 1 meter coil.
So now i ll like to know if is possible to make a coil of about 25 cms in diameter, conserving this data of course.

Hi Kt315.
When i get back my camera i´ll take a few pictures.
But, in advance i can tell you that the circuit has two PIC´s inside, so this made the machine very hard to build.
The rest looks not to complicated to do reverse enginiering, the MD is made of three pcb, that can be removed very easy.
Now i´ll like to know if i can construct a small coil using the same inductance and resistance has the big coil of 1 by 1 meters, or this could damage the detector?

Uykusuz saying he prepared 1*1 m coil for it like original. He added 2,2 k resistance to paralel Coil and added extra resistor paralel this resistance to get more discirimination sensitivity.He did not measure final resistor ohm but guess is near 1 k ohm.
