Moding Tesoro coil to X5

Does anyone know what is required to get a Tesoro brown donut to work with the X5? Is it pin-outs or inductance that is the problem?
I have one sitting around and was hoping I could use it.

Probably both. Also I believe the older Tesoro's used 5 wire coil cables. The X-5 uses 4. THe Lobo ST also uses 4 and the Lobo ST's coils are much closer to the operating frequency of the X-5 than the other Tesoro's.
