VLF Search Coil design

Does any one know how to design search coil for VLF, like concentric, coplanar, shadow, pintpoin and the other. What is the best and how to build it? Would you like share with me, please?

There is a good explanation of coplanar coil construction on this homepage. it is under Metal Detectors / Projects / way down near the bottom under Misc. I haven't tried it yet but I will be soon.
