  • TGSL coil, where to buy?

    Hi,
So far I've built 4 coils for the TSGL but I'm still not happy with achieved nulling. I'm giving up....
Do you have any recommendations on where to buy (in europe) a professional coil for this detector? and what brand/model?
    many thanks,
    Xix

        Many thanks Qiaozhi.
I'm living in Portugal. Would that coil model fit the TGSL specs?
        K regards,

Yes - I'm certain it will be ok. Many Tesoro coils are swappable between different models. Just make sure you buy one with a 5-pin connector.
One of the best Tesoro coils to use is the 9x8 web coil, but they can be expensive.

why 5 pin connector? 4 would be enough, isn't it?
            Thanks

Unless anyone can correct me, I think the coils with the 4-pin connector have different inductances. The TX is something like 1mH, and the RX is about 15mH. This type will not work with the TGSL.

                  Did you win it?
                  It sold for £48.57.

If not, here's another one ->

Is your detector now working ok with the commercial coil?
