  • Tejon homebrew DD Coil

    Hi , I looking for homemade 5,75 " DD coil for my Tesoro Tejon ,any have a inductance for TX and RX coils?

      it's different of a standard coil ? because my measurement was
      20 mH and 1,5 mH

        Is 20mH the Tejon transmit coil or receive coil?

        I would not believe the coil data listed for Lobo. I think the Tx and Rx are backwards but I don't know for sure.

          Parameters of 8x9" Tesoro Tejon coil are:
          TX - 950uH / 4.3 ohm
          RX - 15.8mH / 65.5 ohm
          Phase TX / RX is 180 grad
          TX coil work in Colpitts circuit with serial capacitors 100n and 1uF (inside detector). This give frequency 17.23kHz. Amplitude TX coil is about 22Vpp.

            Thanks Mrand , so if I make a DD coil with this parameters they can operate ?

            I take my measurement at the coil connector maybe it's different for a
            error of my instrument.

            I confirm a big inductance is RX section
