My ancient MAC1 seems to have a shorted coil. It won't balance out, sometimes if you just tap the shaft with your finger very lightly it straightens out for a short time then goes to crap again. Does this sound like coil problem? If it is, I'm Screwed Bad because they aren't made anymore and if its bad, It can't have resistance measured anymore right? So I've come to the "Brain Bank" for suggestions. "Me" making new coil isn't gonna happen, Tractors are my specialty and anything smaller than a hammer is outa my league. Any help/ advice would be apprecieated more than you could realise. Thank You, Thank You ,Thank You.
