    C.Scope coil

    This is an older version of C Scope but i expect it works the same.
    I have a defective coil opened and made some pictures,
    If you are interested I will send on.
    I own several older C Scope detectors and i am interested in the non motion types.

    regards

      Hi Guzzi
      Thank you for the schematics, if you could post the photos of your coil it would be very helpful to me.

        This is the inside of a C Scope coil. There are 2 RX coils and one TX coil.The wire sizes of the RX coils are 0,3 and 0.4 mm. The TX coil wire size is 0.3 mm and i think about 60 turns. The RX coils wire turns are difficult to see. There is NO shield.

          Hi Guzzi,

          Thanks for the photos there great! Don't suppose you have a diagram showing the colours of the wires and the way they are soldered to the conenction plug? It must have been very difficult to take the coil apart looks very well stuck together.
          Thanks again

            CScope coil wire colors

            1 Black

            2 Red

            3 NC

            4 White

            5 Green + shield of the cable

            In the connector of the 1220 coil 3 and 4 where connected. I removed this connection for a test but the 1220 stil worked.

            I hope this helps.

            Regards

                Hello Mark

                I took some time, sorry

                As noted on the schematic (In dutch)

                Black = pin 1

                Red = pin 2 (Both TX)

                Pin 3 to a 150 pF C to pin 5 inside the case of a 1200A

                White = pin 4 (RX)

                Green = Pin 5 common and shield.

                Regards

                Leendert
