  • Caduceus coil?

In reading through some fringe science topics I come across a coil called the Caduceus coil. They say some crazy things about it. I'm just curious if Aziz could run a simulation with his software, and if there is any crazy possible application in metal detection...
So simple to make I think I'll play with it.

    Hi Barry,

sure, my coil software could do this. But the work would be just a waste of time and energy.

Something that could be compared to the HHO technology built in the cars. Only a pseudo science.

    Cheers,
    Aziz

Aw common... You probably made a time machine out of one and just don't want to share.
Its interesting just doing a google search on these. I haven't come across anyone yet who says "I built one and it didn't do squat". Its always something like time stood still, a cloud formed above their house, and things picked up intrinsic charges....
I'd just like to see whether what they say about the magnetic fields canceling shows on your software. If its not hard to do please give it a go.
Otherwise, if someone wants to mess with these, here looks like a good place to start: http://jnaudin.free.fr/spgen/index.htm Please post your results - nothing happened, or otherwise... There's an emi guy at work with a multithousand dollar simulation package that supposedly can evaluate it but I guess I'd have to be the one stumbling through it to learn how to do such a simulation...

        Well Barry,

then it is time for a practical experiment. Make the coil and test it.
But I am not going to waste my time.

        Cheers,
        Aziz

I'm sorry, I did try to read into detail of the provided link.

          But I saw words like:
          "positive energy"
          "negative energy"
          "antigravity"

I immediately stop reading (brain crashed down - a restart was necessary). It caused a very negative energy flow into me.

BTW, the transmitter is a well known circuit. I am already using such a transmitter in my project. The only difference: I am adding additional capacitance to the tuned coil circuit with intrinsic parasitic capacitances.

          Positive energy to all.

Safety glasses and aluminum foil hat are a necessity when testing this device.

              Barry,

why don't you just make a Caduceus coil and try yourself? It is so easy.

I will. As you say, so easy.
But afterwards I'm going to have to set up a website and charge $47 for a DVD showing my results.

                  Any results?

I registered to these forums for this topic - been looking all over about the results of these "magic" coils, it seems pretty difficult and impractical to have a coil where all magnetic fields would be cancelling each other out

Its taken me longer than anticipated to make my DVD.

Nah, just kidding. I have a couple surfmaster pi boards that have taken precidence. After that I will give it a try. Try searching bifilar, toroid, and rogowski coils...
Honestly, I think software modeling of this would be curious.
The coil is not that unique to itself and seems to be used in RF stuff for decades.

two funny pages i found out were :

                      http://www.angelfire.com/un/weirdlabs.com/cad.html
                      and
                      http://www.zerksus.com/caduceus.htm

both described out of the ordinary things happening, yet when the french guy did it, he did not make any comments on weird happenings.

also found out that the caddy coil is also known as the "smith coil" - googling that reveals some truly hilarious stuff about time travel xD

let us know the results plz whenever you can - btw the theory itself, some say that EM completely goes into destructive interference to create scalar waves/vortexes, but from the caduceus coil only the magnetic fields get cancelled out, how is that supposed to create scalar waves

That must mean bklein will report about its effects sometime in the future....grin
