I won't argue. What I meant about Minelab is, I hadn't heard of them until about 5 years ago.

The fact is that Minelab started back in middle '80 ('86 if i recall correctly) and was good even than!
But major breakthrough Minelab made in early '90, here in EU.
Nowdays Minelab is "old bone" along with much older White's and Fisher.
Minelab and White's will probably survive and stay a bit longer with us. Unlike the others...
XP is coming.. and it is coming pretty aggressive!

Maybe they don't need new markets yet, maybe don't have such production capabilities yet?
They "just" appeared. I heard for XP first time few years ago.
Had XP Gold Max Power for several months. Was delighted with it. Best coinshooter i ever had!
Recently i had chance to see, test and work a bit with Deus. Also delighted, even more!
Plan to buy one very soon!

Could be good up to some point.
Also could turn bad.
We here experienced that pretty well.
After Socialism gone, all of the sudden all the borders "opened" for foreign products - and local industry busted like that!
In case of Unimog; i really do wander , because Benz is already there!?
Must be some politics?
(who will understand those Krauts?)

That stinks! I always try to support local businesses whenever possible. However, if a foreign company has a better option, I'll give it a shot. Binz got tired of trying to meet the emissions regulations, from what I hear.
You're from the former Soviet Union?

You must know about funny Yugo? Have you seen "Die Hard" where Sam Jackson and Bruce Willis are trying to drive it faster than it can?

Otherwise we had much different history, displaced far from each others, speaking different language and have different customs and mentality.
We are in Europe, Balkans (although not members of EU yet, despite the fact that we took a part in it's designing) and Russians are far from here.
Somehow (funny but true) we're closer to middle Europeans than to Eastern's.
Nikola Tesla, Michael Pupin, Ivo Andric, Novak Djokovic... and of course - Divac (L.A. Lakers among few others) were and are Serbians. Who else?
Hundreds more that you maybe know about... how about Karl Malden?
Have you heard about him?
