Concentric Coils Help

Hi,

I need to make a concentric coil as part of a metal detector for my senior design project. My question is for making the bucking coil. How do I connect it to my Tx coil out of phase? Do I wind my coil in once direction for the Tx and then when I'm done, I work on winding it the other direction for bucking?
