They must have a big capacitance in there the flybacks are about 25 microseconds ... the TX current would be fairly high under these conditions.
    Exactly my thoughts as well.

If you own this MD, can you please share more info, thank you

The only thing I don't like is the iron tone that is constantly present. Basically this doesn't work that bad.

This type of caps are manufactured from cold rolled aluminum sheet alloy type 8011A+ .
There is no presence of iron, VDI on this cap is the same as on a Roman serstertion .

I see you have photos of the device, can you tell us what the markings of the integrated circuit are? What is the first op amp?We see lm386 the assumption is that it is for audio?

                Oh what a disappointment!
There are several reasons why I have now completely dropped this detector from the plans!
                "Molded part"!??
                Why that?
If I get angry I'll put it in methylene chloride and in a few hours it won't be hidden anymore, why the nonsense?
Why are the pins bent and the several chips counter soldered?
What kind of nonsense is that!?
Quite a frivolous approach and quite serious claims and an even more serious price!
With all that (which indicates the complete frivolity of the one who did it); in "countless" video demonstrations I have yet to see behavior on masked targets...
But now that I saw how frivolously it was done; I'm not even interested in anything about this detector anymore, it's obvious that it's just stupidity... for a lot of money!
Thanks for the pictures of the interior! They helped me eliminate all dilemmas.
                ...
The "enormous depths" shown on the naively recorded video demonstrations remind me of the Atlantis Imperator, some xx years ago, a crap made in Turkey,
which on very clean soil turned out to be the deepest in history... and in real conditions as a totally unusable piece of garbage.

The way the coil connector and the power (or whatever) switch is connected to the pcb, "mixed" type of components, SMD, DIL, potentiometers of one type and another type...
The inside of the plastic box clearly shows very cheap, low quality plastic. After a few months in the sun, that plastic will start to crack, rot and deform...
Too much tin on small SMD components indicates manual soldering...
This is not a pcb made by JLPcb... this is Bulgarian build quality.
These are all indicators of "manual work" at the diy level.
All in all; one of the biggest disappointments of this year.
The first impression I had was wrong.
But now that we have a chance to see the details…

What does the molded part hide?
Probably some "arduino" bare bones approach.
Maybe a better one... maybe even an Attiny... or just an NE555 with a few extra components!
To be honest, it looks really good in the video demos.
But real Norfolk Wolf-style tests are lacking.
All this would not be open to criticism; that the price is adequate to what we see in the pictures of the interior.
But for that price I expected much more.
Am I the only one in this world who truly appreciates the toil and effort when an honest man works and barely earns a wage?
Am I the only one in the world who truly knows how hard it is to earn every cent?
Light "beetch slapping" with such prices is becoming more common in the world and in people's minds, that it is simply unbelievable.
As if we are all Arab sheikhs who light cigars with 1000 euro bills!

And even if we were so rich; it is an insult to intelligence to throw away money so nonchalantly.
This is a very sad world.
Sometimes I think that this life is actually the biblical hell that the pops keep scaring us with.
And that after this life we will finally go to a better place.
In this sense, it is an even greater sin to waste money on extravagance, instead of doing something good with that money, like helping someone in trouble.
The saddest part about this detector is that it's not even about extravagance!

I like the box, maybe this is vlf? The input amplifier has no diodes. Rx has a very large inductance of 9mh which is unusual for a pi, however this is vlf and it samples directly from the transistor.

60cm..Discrimination is not important! But is there a difference in the ground between Aka Smart and Golden mask 4 since in the air test the difference is 50cm in favor of Aka Smart?

This device does not work as metal detector, if in the future there are changes and it works well, I will give you the schematic . Currently returned to the manufacturer because AKA SMART doesn't work as advertisedand and money is restored .

                          Поздрав !

Target in the last video is a aluminum cap with diameter 68mm buried at ~ 60cm
Coin is 1lv bulgarian ( copper-nickel centre in brass ring - 25mm diam.)
The detector reacts to this coin in the air as a non-ferrous metal, if we place coin on ground AKA SMART reacts to the coin as a ferrous metal (unless passes with the center of coil over coin)
