  • Commercial detector vs DIY Detector

    Hello my dear Friends
    i'm beginner to metal detecting

What is difference between commercial detector and diy detectors technology?
ex:nokta simplex vs idx pro/tgsl etc
    minelab pi vs diy pi

Can the diy version achieve better results with commercial ?
    I mean depth/vdi etc

    good start Amigo.

    1. first of all, you have not a money on commercial detector.
    2. then you do DIY detector from electronics garbage.
    3. you dig the gold very intensive. also, money, Gold Mask, jewelry etc.
    4. you sell those found things, for a money.
    5. you waste the money on commercial detector.
    6. or just on women, beer and sigarettes.

    my version.

Hi. it depends on what and where you are looking for. I have long gone from digital commercial devices to homemade analog ones and I do not regret it at all. Search for coins and related antiquities.

The question is quite general and imprecise, so it is impossible to give a simple answer.
There are DIY detectors that are quite decent and do a decent job, and there are original factory detectors that are just as decent and do the job.
There are detecting conditions and target types that are very difficult to achieve with the DIY quality to compete some top notch factory detectors.
For example the tiniest bits of gold nuggets... it's hard to beat the Minelab GP&GPX series of detectors.
We can lie, we can dream sweet dreams... but reality is pretty harsh in such cases.

This is according to the scheme...
                          Changed pulse pumping - GS-4...
Added a generator for the 5 volt stabilizer...
The times are fixed according to the scheme - they have not been changed...
