Question for detectorists from Bulgaria. In two weeks I will be on vacation in Sunny Beach. What does the search law look like in BG? Is this allowed on beaches or do I need a permit?
Local people are aware where not to go. There are problems with the people who rent the beach (it's all rented out to hotel owners and such). You don't need a permit but expect some problems. If you do go - do it early in the mornings and late in the evenings. It's not illegal if you are not on a protected site but some beaches are so it's complicated and sometimes police may get involved..
Thank you Eclipse for the tips. I've been in BG since yesterday, I transported Deus by plane, there were no problems. I'll try it first thing in the morning. Regards.
do it early in the mornings and late in the evenings.
i went at evenings but in this time some people did attractions for kids at beach. so looking i attract kids they called policy. then arrived a cop did tore up my detector from my hands.
bulgarian service animals are very angry. you will not able to arrange with them.
i could just went free on very narrow line of beach out of hotels main one. there were not people but much rocks.
anyway your task will be seek a part of beach where you do not wait the informers.
on modern bulgarian salt water corrosion coins i bought a coffee in automates. ))
bulgarians themself are mainly good people. althought there are not free of charge toilets at streets and you have to be a client in bar/cafe to get into the toilet.)))
Thanks Kt315. Yesterday evening I went to see the beach. There are beaches with sun loungers next to the hotels, which are not an option. There is a large public beach between them, as indicated by a sign. I'll try it first thing in the morning when the sun comes up. I also took a Teknetics water pinpoier, bought on occasion, damaged before the trip, which now works. I will also try this in shallow water. Thanks guys.
I was on the beach before dawn and encountered no problem. When the sun rises, tourists come to take photos, so I have to get up earlier . I dug up over 20 caps and pultabs and 9 coins. Pinpoiter scuba tector is not suitable when there are waves in the sea! Forget about searching with this device - it's impossible, although I am very impressed with its sensitivity for such a toy!
If you suggest wireless sandals that connect to XP Deus headphones, I'll take them . But seriously, deus is not great for the beach. I dig a lot of caps that I can't recognize from the audio and I would never dig them out with my Sovereing GT! Unfortunately, it was too heavy and did not fit into the backpack.
i told how to remake Sov GT ELITE on one 18650 (two parallel) power supply. yes, power pack of GT is too heavy. also the coil. but in X-terra they began to do
coils much easier.
Recently I also bought an elite for a symbolic price and it is just as good as the Gt. On the second trip I dug up a gold ring in the water. I haven't dealt with x terra, it may be lighter, but it seems to me that it is a different technology than BBS as in sovering! I don't know if it works in salt water like the GT. Generally, older models "with knobs" suit me better, fewer settings, more hits.
