Next to George Payne; Dave is someone who has made the biggest impression on me over the years.
Whenever I think of Dave; I think back to my list of favorite detectors I've owned, used and loved.
I can boast that I had the honor and privilege to exchange a few emails with him a few...ish years ago.
He was very kind, accommodating and I learned a lot from him in a couple of emails.
At the time we mostly talked about magnetometry.
I heard earlier that he was in bad health, but I didn't expect news like this.
Rest in peace Dave! You will be remembered forever.
