I have public suggestion/offer to XP company!
XP company SHOULD NOT accept to sell their products to customers with IQ lower than 50!

Before selling; XP company SHOULD ASK proof on customers IQ!

Because; more and more i see very wrong and false representations on Deus, made by unknown and "independent" enthusiasts.
Huge disservice and damage will be result from those, i am sure!
Instead informing properly more people on splendid Deus performances and selling more units to customers - this kind of wrong video presentations will make public to believe that Deus is nothing special, just another ordinary detector. Which is NOT TRUE!

So... i suggest XP company to ask IQ proofs from their future customers!
Also i suggest XP company to add sticker "Not for idiots!" on each of their products!

    Ain't that a good suggestion!?

I ask him for such test before, he is willing, but problem is gold nugget.
If you could send him a piece of gold nugget (1gram or so) for test?
Nugget have to be as much irregular shape as you can find one.

At this time i don't have any nugget, but my neighbor is a goldsmith and always has some residues at melting, so it shouldnt be a problem to provide a nugget or some stones like in picture below :

                Fine, walker, thanks.
With your offer we are near to natural gold Deus test solution.
Cause of nuggets lacks we need compromise between very small gold dust and bigger nugget at about 1gram natural gold nugget:

                  Hi satdaveuk
eBay is a great source of such things. It is worth to invest in small test gold nugget of about 1gram, because you have testing piece forever:

This is true. Real nuggets are full of voids, imperfections, and have non-gold items embedded in them. They thus appear 'smaller' than similar 'jewellery residue'. There is a pdf technical article by Bruce Candy available on Minelab's website, explaining how detectors work. In it he mentions this difference.

And if one is not familiar with B. Candy theory, here a small excerpt from practical test (test targets as on picture in post #23):

@satdaveuk Hi, i live in Serbia and shipping cost from here to UK would be very high, so i think that the best choice for you would be ebay as WM6 already mentioned.
@WM6 You're welcome WM6, i did notice difference between nature and melted gold (melted gold nugget been detected while the whole stone not), now experimenting with IGSL for this purpose (I raised the frequency to 22kHz) and it detects very tiny nuggets, but have some little problems with stability, I went offtopic here...
                        ivconic send me PM.
                        Regards Marko.

Ive had a go of the deus it was very good.

                          Clear Id for Iron.
Automatic volume change for distance from the target (close loud , distant quiet)

The main filter may be set up a little higher in frequency say 40Hz plus - as you can sweep it like a golf club and still gets it. Maybe a high pass shape rather than a narrow bandpass.

The coil on them is a touch more of an OO than a DD. Overlapped section has definate curves rather than straight.

Love to see one opened up. Or a drawing - mostly DSP and blutooth Radio Transciever I guess.

Battery is less than 10gramm and lasts about 8-12hours.

                          Tx must be efficient.

                          Steve

Deus is state of the art in many aspects.
Last edition of Deus is having more better batteries than previous ones.
My Deus is from latest edition; coil battery can last up to 19 hours, mostly depends on adjustments. Remote control battery can last over 21 hours.
If TX power is adjusted to max (value 3) than i guess battery will drain faster.
I don't readjust main presets often, i am using GMP and FAST programs most of the time, TX power is set at 2 and maybe that's why my batteries are lasting a bit longer.
Despite the fact that i am having it for more than 2 months; i still haven't explored it yet in details. So many options and possbilities! Some of them demand given soil conditions to be explored in right manner.
But for now i am very satisfied with it!

If you spot this, close to your home town - don't panic!
It is just me; digging what i was previously detected with my tiny Deus!
