Today i went out and visited the same site from the other day, same where i discovered gold coin.
I deliberately wanted to go there and compare behavior of V3.2 with V4 and it's new features.
I made 2 programs explained on Youtube video from my previous posts.
I named them "Iron3T" (3 tone) and "Iron4T" (4 tone).
But unlike on video i lowered frequency to 12kHz on both, also adjusted Silencer on "2".
So when i first walked inside the site it was "baddabooom ... brooom ... brooom..." all over the place!
Constantly on each step! Deus... the machine gun!
Ok. 5 minutes later i adjusted Disc from previously -6.4 to -4.7 and all of the sudden it became much calmer.
Because at -4.7 there is no more ceramics.
That site is pretty much exhausted, no more finds... UNTIL i got very strong and "fat" audio with side-chatters and VDI = 99 !!!
"A large iron" you may think, so was i. Deus was on "Iron3T".
Than i switched it on "Iron4T" and "fat" audio changed to "brooom ... brooom... blurrrp..."! Ha!
Logically, because guy from video designated VDI99 with 120 pitch.
Than i switched it back again on "Iron3T" and i started "shoveling" around.
You may not believe... but approximately between 35cm and 40cm deep; i discovered probably the nicest and largest coin in last 4-5 years!
I took a photo of it along with the same kind of coin that i discovered the other day; just to illustrate the sizes and differences:

V4 update and features... what to say?
Alright!
It is too early to say anything more... but i think there is a visible improvements and progress.
Most significant for me is obviously the ability to lower Disc bellow zero. I like it!
I also tried XY "oscilloscope" kind of display. Interesting.
But i don't find it very useful. It is not giving me any additional info that i already don't have with VDI and audio.
But i will wait and test it further, until i get my final conclusion about that feature.
Will i keep V4 update?
Yes i will.
It is improvement.

P.S.
Was it because of the V4 update or it was just coincidental; but battery at coil drained faster than usual.
Usually i get still "full battery" indicator after such day like today outdoor. On both; remote and coil.
But today i am getting "full battery" on remote and "one line less than full" on coil.
Maybe because all the time TX power was set at "3" (maximum power).

i usually hunt with 12khz, but i saw that with 18khz you can find more small and thin coins. silencer 2 for?
i remember once i found a very deep silver ring, a big ring and i had same vdi 99, and after taking few shovels of dirt out the vdi was lowered.
I don't know why he made 120kz on 99, they don't dig 99? for me if the audio tone is good i dig everything

To reduce small iron sounds, usually pretty small and tiny garbage on such sites.
Deus is calmer as Silencer is set higher.
Silencer at 2 provides me calmer and less erratic work on such sites.
Silencer at 3 and sometimes at 4 and bottle caps are gone!

Battery drain?
Yes.
But in this case i had today; coil battery drained faster than remote battery.
Which is not what i used on so far.
At my favorite adjustments usually Deus (remote) is signing all the time, therefore remote is draining battery faster, because of the loud and frequent audio.
Today too; remote was "brooom..."-ing pretty frequent and i expected it's battery to drain faster.
On contrary; coil battery drained faster!?
Would be good to know details about update essentials, but those things are usually kept as secret.
I listed all the new PDF's they offered on their site; but nothing that i found as explanatory towards this.
Could be also coincidental.
Usually i don't pay much of attention on battery draining because those lasts more than enough for my kind of searching.
