In this case glass is so full that it spills on the side.
Now diy'er can obtain various material from Aliexpress and experiment better than ever.
There are affordable separately sold stems, of very good quality, coils, of very good quality and finally the machines sold also separately, of very good quality.
(Fisher Gold Bug Pro, Garrett Ace and Minelab X-Terra copies already tested and proven to be 100% alright, just as good as originals)
Like i wrote somewhere above; i founded out that Chinese copy of GBPro coil is splendid made, works excellent and very affordable, under $30 at Aliexpress.
TX is 0.7mH and RX is 11.1mH.
Ideal for many diys.
You don't waste your energy and time on making coils no more, stems too. You focus on creative projecting only.
I see this situation the same as somebody opened a candy shop for me and everything inside is so cheap and affordable.

It is so obvious the intention to procrastinate and to create as much intrigue and fame as possible ... in the hope that once it enters the market; sales will explode!
This is so unnecessary and stupid that I just can't believe what's going on!
When procrastinates with something like that; everything becomes very suspicious.
Based on the practice so far and how it has been done so far;
after the announcement that day:
now at least 20 video demonstrations must have existed on Youtube.
Instead, here we see how Deus 2 successfully balances in the wind !!!
I do not believe !

Good afternoon, Ivconic. Is there 5 pins in the connector, are they all involved? Can you show the coil diagram? Thanks.

The characters in XP seem to be counting on "chicken memory" with most potential customers; when they so confidently claim to have made a real breakthrough in the generation of machine sounds.
Although lately I don't like them at all; it is fair to know and remember who was the first in history to make a "scheme" for such sounds and set standards for the future.
So the characters in XP didn't actually discover anything new, they just copied something someone had done long before them.

The history of this technology begins with the Explorer model and continues through all subsequent models to the latest Equinox model. One and the same but still much improved scheme as with Equinox.
While devising the concept of the Deus 2 model; I think they did a lot of research on the Equinox model.
I think Minelab will have a lot of material for a new lawsuit in the foreseeable future.
Not to mention Nokta/Macro, who follow it all and take it over automatically!

On first and skim glance...
There are things i really like and things i don't (i guess it's the usual impression when something is brand new) .
I really like the new enclosure, looks rigid and better material than at Deus 1.
I really don't like the rear charging connector. I understand the reason of its existence though.
But since they had a lot of time to design it that good; they could use a bit of imagination and have done it better.
For only a charging; they could simply put the same two "spots" as on coils, this time without clips but with small piece of magnet, something similar as on Macbooks.
For underwater use you are pushed to use connector. But for inland use and ease of charging; such screwing connector is real pain in the ... .
And YES there is the "rf wave guide line" again, for underwater use. Was it so hard to figure out how and put it fixed in the stem?
LCD graphics and elements, different than at Deus 1. Will need some time to get used on it. That's what i don't liked at ORX too.
For retail price of 1600e they really put a lot in a package, that's ok. Although as only inland user; i would not use most of the addons. So why paying for something you don't need?
In my case i would need only coil, stem and remote, along with simple charger. Price then would be significantly lower.
Stem is the same, coil looks the same, more "engravings" and stickers on them...
Did it need to be ugly and redundant "telescopic" writings on the stem? Ha, ha, ha!
Why there are so many colorful and unnecessary scribbles on the coil?
I guess it attracts more attention that way?
...
I like the remote, stem and coil looks the same... outlook is alright.
Rear connector is annoyance.
The "content" is still unknown, guy on video didn't show advanced features and real testing.
From what he skim did; air distance on coin is not impressive, will need a bit of adjustments i guess.
Let's say for the first impression that it is alright, generally speaking.
For those who don't own Deus 1; this would be real choice.
Later when we see real testings; we'll be able to say is it the real choice for Deus 1 owners.
This guy is probably one among 100 "useful idiots" picked by XP for initial pre-sale testings.
So i guess we will have to wait just before the new year, to see some real stuff.

What I don't particularly like about Deus 1 is that every time I turn it on; I have to choose between speaker and headphones, it always bothers me to press extra key.
And now with this Deus 2 thing has gotten even worse !!!
Couldn't they put it on one of the menus and store the choice in eeprom?
So, now, each time you switch it on; you must play short "video game" to get it in working mode!
Sheeee.... sshhh!
