    Santa is back!

A friend gave me his Gordak 850+ SMD Rework Station Hot Air Welding Gun to try to fix it.
Something happened with electricity at his home and than Gordak burned.
I tried to find schematic on the internet but i had no success.
So...a man's got to do what a man's got to do; i serviced it and at the same time i traced out schematic and pcb!
    Here it is, enjoy!

Servicing this toy would be indeed very easy job, if... IF!
R2,R4 and R28 are having WRONG colors!
        Can you believe it!???
R2 and R4 are marked with Blue,Red, Orange meaning 62K!
And when i take it of the pcb and measure; one is giving 7.6k and another 6.6k !????
No, colors are not dimmed due heating and long term using, colors on them are just bright, fresh and easy visible.
Later i checked on another, new Gordak; same colors!?? But those are 6K2 both.
And third one R28 is marked Brown, Black, Brown meaning 100 ohms!
Actually it is 10k! Also checked!
So, instead fixing it fast and easy; i spent whole damn night long searching for failure!
At least i learned well about triacs and MOC optocouplers!
You may say that i became expert on triacs and optocouplers now!!!
Anyway; damn thing is fixed, serviced and now in pretty good shape
        !
