have seen a commercial tachometer rpm counter to adjust chainsaw min and max of carburettor adjustment
2 strokes engine but maybe useful also for many other uses , it working without wire connection only
put it near the chainsaw or any engine and it counting induction pulses generated from high voltages spark plug so i guess the circuit
implements a coil that being excited every pulse , basically the rest of circuit is a simple
pulse counter tons of schematic around the net pic micro project , i have found also this schematic
this a simple but need to wrap the coil around the spark plug cable , i am looking for a circuit
that the coil no need to wrap but in proximity of engine with square output 5v pulses maybe
can do that with operational amplifier with automatic gain control ?
