    hi Geo
thanks for answer.i ask it of Guru another site and tell me Rigol better than Owon mark.
he tell me stop for buying at December ,because maybe solve problem of ds1054z.

        Hi Mohandes, bad news.

Please read the following, because this guy may be right:

Quote from: Bud on Yesterday at 03:24:39 AM
As far as the PLL is concerned, it is the loop filter components (3 caps, 2 resistors) that woul need to be replaced. I could tell now what they should be but the problem is with Rigol PLL programming. As i said a few posts back, they do not follow manufacturer's (Analog Devices) recommendations and program values in it that do not make sense. Based on information from ADI you cannot relay on the simulator if you do this. I used the ADI simulator when i built my PLL, as you can see it works perfectly, and i can tell what the loop filter should be but until Rigol reads the PLL datasheet and honors manufacturer specifications and does programming properly, the new loop filter will not work if i publish it.

In my opinion Rigol should redesign the PLL both programming and loop filter, and if this will require loop filter change they should bite the bullet and recall the defective product for upgrade in service centers. Mind you my fellow EEBlogers, there is a product out there with the ABC and the holy grail of digitizing - ADC clock - being totally screwed.

So, right now, avoid the SDS7102V and the DS1000Z.

        Best regards,
        Javier.

I was thinking on buy a scope, and have read the threads here, how about a pc based scope, i have never used one so analog vs digital i probably wouldnt know the diff, would a low priced pc base dversion work as long as it was 2 channel 25 hrz ect

A good friend helped me to obtain new oscilloscope the other day.
Analog 2-channel 20MHz. Brand new one, made in China.
            POS3200 model.
Finally i can measure the signals which i couldn't with several digital ones i had so far, from the lower price range.
Overall i had probably dozen oscilloscopes so far in my "career". Mostly old obsolete models with very modest performances.
I had pc based one too.
If you want to buy digital one; be prepare to spend decent sum of money, because lower price range will not do what you expect from them.
And on the other side; with very modest money you can obtain analog one which is capable to meet most of the demands.
These days i am playing with this analog one with great joy. Finally i have "eyes" to see some things.

They all decent for some purpose.
But for measuring whats going on in metal detectors, especially in PI metal detectors; you'll need proper and capable instrument.
I bought this one from local importer. Who import things from China.
You can probably find it on Aliexpress, i haven't checked.
Or you can search the ebay for some second hand.

                      Ha, ha, ha!
So far i located 3 different names for the very same product:
                      YD4320
                      COS-620
                      POS3200
And price range is really wide!
Always look up for the smallest price.
$240 is fair price. I payed 200 euros for it, including all the costs.
I wonder... if this is some standard model from some more known manufacturer, copied and mass produced by Chinese?
So far i am more than satisfied and happy with it.

Yes, been looking, says 220 volt on aliexpress, would i just need higher voltage probes then for PI metal detector

You can always make simple voltage divider with resistors.
