    Metal detector:
Can someone tells me the voltage that can be measured on the coil when being pulsed.

Without having some idea of what circuit you have in mind, probably not.

Well on a vLF you can get twice the supply voltage.
IE 9V supply can yield a 18V peak to peak sinewave.

On a PI type detector you get a pulse at the supply
voltage but can also get a flyback of hundreds of volts!
It is usually limited by the avalanche voltage of your FET.
200, 400, 600 volts are possible. So be careful around an
energized PI coil and use a high voltage probe on your
      scope to protect it.

        Thank Silver Dollar for answering.
This is what i was expecting. Very high voltages.
I m trying to simulate the Surf Pi detector and i get very high voltages on a 500uH coil.

for pi detector for each model like DP2 and barracuda and ... coils is differrent but very similar , 300to 500mkh and 0.7to 4ohm or more for resistane .
so most important part in pi pulse induction is coil , so read data of each machaine and next make it . then compare whit another people result. AND DAMPING R is important like coils.
          regards
