    I found the following link which describes the recipe for making soldering flux.

    I will try to buying the ingredients at a local pharmacy, and try to test soldering SMD components.

    If anyone has any other proven and a good recipe for DIY soldering flux, can write the same here (including liquid and paste forms).

    goo in the wood, collect some pine tree resin
    mix this with aceton (i make a solution which is nearly liquid like water) have fun

      Yes, go in the woods!

      I couldn't get soldering flux where I live. Only fluxer used for soldering Tiffany Lamps. Don't use this it's corrosive.
      I also couldn't find any rosin or kolophonium or any musicians with string instruments that use this either.
      Anyway, I found a nice link on the internet on how to DIY fluxer.

      Take the old hard and dry pieces of pine tree sap, scrape/break it off with a knife. Don't worry about pieces of bark or dirt sticking in it.
      Fresh sap doesn't seem to work as well, I don't know why.

      Dissolve the pieces/scrapings in either Ethyl Alcohol or Acetone. This can take a few days. Swirl occasionly. Use a jar that you can throw away for this.

      Then take a cloth (I used loosely woven linen) to filter it into the jars you will store it in. Don't try cleaning the cloth either!

      You can adjust the viscosity by letting the solvent evaporate accordingly.

      I prefer Ethyl Alcohol, as I find it has a much nicer smell and won't dissolve any plastics I use.

      The left jar is with Ethyl Alc. the right one with acetone (which has already evaporated a lot through the lid).

      I use it for tinning stripped and often corroded wires in a solder bath.

      I really enjoyed this DIY, especially the simplicity of it and the quality of the fluxer is superb.

        I made the recipe flux from the first post.
        I'm very happy about it. I am sending a few pictures of the chip (TC9489F) which I resoldered (one pass with 45 angle +recess tip) one side of the legs.

        Tin is very well poured and flowing, not behind the claws even this dense package chip.
        If you follow the recipe and replace "parts" with "gram", you get a bottle of about 100 mL of solution, enough for a lifetime
