Inductance measure with Soundcard.

Hello,
when i was searching for a easy method to measure inductance i found this :

Sound pretty easy.

Will it work?
Im really new to electronics, pls excuse my questions

5v supply from USB.
I will use it with an external USB Soundcard. Just to be sure.

4 Reference Resistors switched with jumper.

It will most probably work, but I'd go with a simple multimeter with inductance position instead. Less clutter, more practical, adequate precision.
