My friend is on holiday at the moment, and said it could some time to translate, so he's suggested using the Pleco app. This a Chinese dictionary that also has a live OCR facility. You just point your mobile phone at the text, and it will do the translation.

I downloaded Pleco onto my Android tablet, but it says that OCR is a payable option, so you'll have to decide how important it is for you to get the translation. As with all apps, it's probably not expensive. My friend says he uses it all the time as an alternative to trawling through the Chinese directory for hours on end.

KT315, the site is difficult to navigate when its translated to english in google, it appears that there are several different circuits, and I have been trying to find a circuit that has all the components in your list, I will keep trying tomorrow as its 1:00 AM

Paste the jpg file into the Google drive. (https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive).
Open the file with Google Docs, directly in the drive. This will make an OCR.

In the tab Tools , of google docs, select traduce, and the language you want.

It s done.

Google Drive and Docs, makes free OCR. The file must be well scanned for better results.

Thanks for this information, its all new to me, just spent 1/2 an hour trying to make it work
finally figured out how to use it, you UPLOAD the .jpg then open it in google docs then translate,
I tried pasting the .jpg but it did not like it.

the process works and it may be very usefull for translating other picture type documents
but in this case the translation from Chinese symbols to English was a strange mix of words that did
not give any technical details of the diy kit,
KT315 I could not get the search box to work myself.

The circuits that I have been able to find on the site do not have enough components to match
your component list , I am also trying to find the company contact email but its not easy
but I will try again later today.

6666 next way... i found the kit in aliexpress (tesla+plasma), then clicked above and changed page language on mandarin.

so you can take words after CNIKESIN DIY on mandarin and use for search.
again, i did not find the kit on http://www.haodiy.net/index.html

Hi KT315, thanks for the information on aliexpress, I have joined up at aliexpress and found the english aliexpress site for CNIKESIN
I have emailed them via aliexpress asking for the construction document in English to be emailed to me.
Lets hope they reply.

Yes, it is an uploading of the file into the Drive.
But , if you have your google account, and windows, (may be different on Linux or Mac or Android .. ) , it only necessary to copy and paste from the windows explorer to the drive in windows. The upload is automatic.
An than Google Docs do the job..

I have discovered some weeks ago only, and in fact , it is very usefull for manuals in others language.

Hi KT315, well I tried to contact some sellers on Ebay for the construction details, I tried to ask them to send the info to my email address

but because I had my email address in the message I missed the error messages, (I did not know you are not allowed to put your email address in the message.)
their system automaticly blocked my account for a week because I missed the error message, but will keep trying.

here is their "construction details", I've gone about as far as I can on this.
