  • Variable inductor

How would you implement an inductor that can switch between two values without changing its resistance?

The solution that comes to mind is a linear actuator, solenoid or latching solenoid moving a piece of ferrite in and out of an inductor on command.

    Any other ideas?

    Another idea, all electronic:

It will never achieve exactly the same resistance but it may come close.

You could even PWM drive the FET's independently then "crossfade" the values ;-).

      Works with Caps too!

That's right but only when your Tx frequency si much ower than the PWM frequency.
