    few tips for printing
wrap the tape under the bed

    printing abs
nozzle temp 220 bed 60 cos a stock bed your lucky to get to 100
    no fan

    printing pla
nozzle temp 220 bed 60 with fan 100%

    and always use a brim
and set your extruder so a bit paper can slide under and just catch the nozzle

    and the ultimate tip
get some acetone and put it in a jar put some scrap abs in it make it a liquid use that to cote your bed, only problem you might have is you might have to lift the tape to, but at least your prints wont lift or warp

One day I'll must get a 3D printer.
At the moment I'm resisting, because I know it will hog all my spare time ... and I don't have any.

Agree, but better than fiddle with 3D design detectors, would be to 3D design desired treasure alone.

      Congratulations, kosacid.

I have the same 3D printer, i guess it's the cheapest 3D printer on the market and the best in this price class.

I think 220 Degrees is way to much for PLA.
Use a glass plate for your prints and Glue Stick for PLA and ABS- Slurry for ABS.

There are printers with a big heatbed like 400 x 400mm. I think they would be good for one piece coil housings.

This thread should be moved to "Tools & Techniques".
