Some of my resistors legs stick to a magnet very strongly, most don't.
Looked at datasheets, for example one manufacturer has tinned copper and
another tinned steel for the leads. Not all are created equal it seems.
I do love detecting but I'm not a friend of iron, at least in most areas I am beeping.
What may be silly, but has me wondering is if this might have effects
on incoming signals in a PI - frontend. For example the damping resistor, the 1k
resistor leading to the 5534 and possibly offset & gain resistors.
I only have the iron ones for the 1M resistor, so can't try the difference &
only copper leads on 1k and damping resistors.
Has anyone ever checked their resistor leads magnetically or maybe found out if there may be a difference.
Thanks for your patience ...
