Does anyone know of a transparent foil which can be put into photocopy machine for toner, then applied to heated copper clad board. When cooled, can just be easily peeled off, leaving toner on copper board. It goes by the name of T500 or something of the sort. I saw it in an elektor magazine but can't seem to find it again.

Eddy thanks for the link. Guys if your hands are shaking or if just having laminator at home, you can do the iron part with the laminator, usually on maximum temperature setting. Unfortunatelly you must do several passes, to get the proper results. If the temperature is not sufficient you might need to mod a bit temperature control of the laminator. This helps to get more consistent results.
Regarding the topic, i use bakery paper form Carefour, but that's more pain in the a** cause you have to stick it on normal printing paper which leads sometimes to paper jams and other headache. However it is the cheapest method. The heat transfer paper on Ali express is available for 10$ 100 pages but if you are in hurry the bakery paper will do.

press and peel is overpriced, had this some years before
1. look for yellow chinese transfer paper
2. artpaper (thicker paper with a thin layer of chalk)
3. spuckie paper (some kind of water based glue to make stickers at home)
the 3rd is so far the best i used, if you put it in water after heat transfer the paper lift off the pcb after the glue disolves in water, just wash the rest of the glue unter water from pcb then etch

So 'spuckie-papier' is in English 'Spit Paper', because it is adhesive-backed, and needs wetting with water or saliva to activate it, like a postage stamp, or envelope. But is the glue backing important, it's the paper that is different ? It appears to be 'rubberised', does this mean 'gummed' in English?:
"Rubberized paper is glued on by moistening the back. The stickers can be removed by water or steam. Eg. off bottles. We deliver the brands Super-flat-sam or Polygum in white - depending on availability and in green paper with 'Gum Arabic'."
Which side of the Spuckie-papier are you printing on, Bernte ? The glue side, or the normal paper side ?
And the Chinese paper is this stuff:
