This is demo version which can only measure complex impedance from 100 ohms to 10k ohms, however there is an easy way to get around this:
Step 2: build the test jig as indicated (very easy)
Step 3: connect a 300 ohm resistor in series with the coil to be measured and set scale on app to 10khz measurement frequency. That's it. Now you can measure inductance from 1 uH to 1mH no problems. Which is good when making coils for pulse metal detector.
It is extremely accurate. I verified this.
For measurements from 1mH to 10mH remove 300 ohm resistor.
