Questions on Teknetics Big Bud

Don't know if this is the right forum or not because this isn't really a mod question,but here goes....I have a older model teknetics big bud (red case) mounted on the circuit board the are some pots. Does anybody know what these adjust. The reason I am asking is because It ID's a quarter as a penny and a penny as foil and I just think it may be a simple adjustment of one of these pots.. Also does anybody which color wire does what (tx/rx) going to the coil Thanks Tom
