  • Trail Camera quit

Bought a new Wild game terra camera a few years ago and it finally quit. Watching the last couple video's I'm surmising water has got into the camera case. Didn't want to attempt disassemble and then trying to bake the board I put the unit inside a 1 gallon zip lock bag and set it out in the sun. After 4 hours I have noticed small water droplets along the sides of the bag. I still think it needs a little more drying though. Not sure how these pressure switches work but the bottom on the one is smooth and doesn't have dimples as the others do.

Try putting it in a bag full of dry rice. You might have to open the case to let the water out though as I assume these things are supposed to be water tight.

I took the face plate off the camera. Huh, dry rice would be better than the sun. Thanks

Well, after a week in a sealed bag of dry rice I pronounce the camera ,dead.
