  • Intrigue!

Before the question, a brief sub-context.
I am an old radio amateur from the 80s. But I have neglected those activities for the last 10 years or so.
So, more or less; I am not an absolute layman.
I wouldn't even ask this question if it was an easily explained answer.
Before I decided to ask this, I thoroughly checked everything possible that was available, for the simple reason that I would not ask unnecessary and ridiculous questions.
So... the usual assumptions anyone would have about the answer; they all fall away. Because everything that is conventional has been checked.
What could this "antenna" lookalike on the picture be?

I could not zoom in better, although the distance is about 100m at most.
    It's not a meterological station, it's not a radio amateur antenna, it's not 5G, it's not a local beacon...
it's not the only one on a single roof, but there are several of them placed on several roofs in a radius.
It's not wifi, it's not some kind of local net, it's not local TV, it's not anything like that.
If one of you does not know in advance exactly what it could be by form; I believe that we will never know the real answer.
The people whose houses are in question are not of such caliber, knowledge and activity that one could guess what is on their roofs.
And ask them directly; it would be very stupid.
And it's not just the "object" in question.
But a very interesting "radio activity" that can be hunted on the principle of "foxhunt" in that radius.
Spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, fft... are connected to "foxhunt" circuit.
The waveform that happens there is hard to explain. And I'm not in position to publish it.
The only hope left is that someone will know what it is about by the shape of the object.

Are these houses 'retirement homes' for very elderly residents? And the antennae are some 'emergency distress' system, eg monitoring the health of residents and sending data to a local paramedic/doctor ?

        Interesting thought!
        I can't tell...
I don't think they are, I think they are ordinary houses inhabited by ordinary people.

Yes, it looks like it, but it's upside down, the opposite of the concept.
