  • Conspiracy theory and modern science

For years, there have been various debates between various conspiracy theorists and, on the other hand, "scientists" or. somewhat educated people who have learned something in life and at one point stopped and thought that they know everything and can understand everything.
I don't know where to place myself between these two groups. I would like to be able to place myself in the "third" group (if there is such a thing), which are those who stand on the sidelines and observe all these stories.
Sometimes we don't need to see the air to be sure of claims that it exists. (My attitude towards religion and faith is roughly the same.)
I stumbled across this video tonight and watched it with great interest.
    Why?
Because 10...12 maybe 15 years ago I made an almost identical "assembly" as in the video and experimented with it in the attic for weeks.
A synonym for a conspiracy theorist, one might say a symbol, is a funny dude with a funny aluminum foil cap on his head.

Is it all really so pointless?
You will find all the answers if you patiently watch the whole video without "rewinding"...

Let me spice up this story a bit.
Let's show the other side of the coin, the dark... dark side of the moon!
CIA documents from the 50s and 60s are no longer secret.
Today, a lot can be found in Internet archives.
    A mountain of paper!
It takes a lot of time, nerves and persistence to dig through that mountain of useless text... in order to eventually come across only a few sentences that have some useful information.
Instead of circling here and writing tons of words before I get to the point, I'll get straight to the point, harshly and briefly!
How did CIA agents kill targeted individuals in the 50s and 60s?
Under the given conditions that it does not look like a murder but a natural death.
Under the given conditions that no subsequent autopsy can prove murder.
The targeted person is followed for days, weeks, sometimes months.
An opportune moment is waited for (or set up on purpose earlier than that) for the targeted person to stay in a hotel.
Before that, the sleeping bed is moved so that the sleeping person's head is directly against the wall towards the next room.
In the next room on the other side of the wall, a "device" is installed.
Wait until the person falls asleep.
Then the "device" is put into operation.
Water molecules in the victim's brain begin to move at high speed.
In his sleep, the person gets nightmares, begins to sweat at night, has various peripheral complaints.
If before going to sleep, a strong sedative has been planted in the person's drink or food; the person is unable to wake up.
By morning, the person will die in his sleep in excruciating pain. With a boiled brain.
Rarer cases will survive until morning but will be very short lived after that. Because serious damage was done to the victim's brain.
How many people died this way?
A later autopsy showed "sudden natural death with no apparent cause."

Hey thats the same cause of death as all those people who jumped out of windows suddenly in the motherland ... wow ... is it a coincidence.

PS my theory is that they were trying to get into a hovering spaceship and missed their step

Check the archives to see if those guys had aluminum caps on their heads!

An old Serbian joke (from when I was in elementary school) reads like this:
        - My grandmother died from sex!
        - How!???
        - She fu-cked up down the stairs!
        ...

There is an even earlier joke, from when I was in kindergarten, it goes like this...
The rooster was walking around the chicken coop and around the corner he saw a little chicken smoking a huge cigar!
        - Hey kid! What are you doing! I'll report you to mom!
        - F-uck off rooster, I was conceived in an incubator.

What you get when you task Deepseek with making a joke for you:

An Australian electronic engineer (His name is Paul, coincidentally) walks into a pub, covered in dirt and holding a mangled circuit board.
          Bartender: "Rough day, mate?"
Paul: "Bloody oath! Been tryin’ to build a metal detector better than Minelab."
          Bartender: "How’s that going?"
Paul: "Well, so far it’s detected three beer caps, a rusty nail, and my own crippling disappointment."
Bartender: "Oi, Minelab’s got 50 years on ya—what makes yours special?"
Paul: "Mine also detects regret—every time I turn it on, it beeps at my life choices."

An American, a Chinese and a Serbian are sitting in a bar.

They started arguing about who has the best shoes.

            The American says:
"We have Nike shoes that are so soft, you can jump from the second floor.
The shoes absorb most of the damage, so you only end up with a minor foot injury!"

The Chinese man says to that:
"We have a copy of the Nike shoes that are so soft, you can jump from the THIRD floor!
The shoes will fall apart, but you suffer NO INJURY! Ha!"

            The Serbian says:
            "We have Opanak!(Peasant shoes)
They are so strong, you can jump from the top of a building! You fall apart, but the shoes take no damage!!!"

              Oooahahahahahah!
You have no idea how true that is!
My grandfather (may his soul rest in peace) wore "opanak" all his life.
That's how peasant life is, simple things make life easier.
The older I get; I understand that truth more and more.
              You gave me an idea!
I will look for an "opanak" to buy and keep as a souvenir.
It has become a relic today.

Joking aside, like I said; 10... 12... maybe 15 years ago I made a "HERF" out of a used microwave oven.
It looked about the same as in the video.
To avoid some unforeseen damage; I took the assembly to the attic.
I have a huge attic, about 130 square meters.
And in the attic I "played" for weeks with that assembly.
I played Nikola Tesla holding a neon tube in hands etc.
About a meter away, I hung an old CD hanging in the air.
I watched as the surface of the disk slowly sputtered and cracked under the influence of the waves.
A couple of times, through carelessness, I allowed part of my hand to be directly exposed to the waves.
A few hours later, that part of the hand would be red, as if cooked.
I realized that the device "leaks" both from the side and from the back.
Then I made a small simple "radiation detector" (bad term) with which I very successfully "scanned" around the device and tracked the "leak".
What did I learn from all that play? That it is a very dangerous thing and not for play.

What else did I learn and prove to myself?
Ordinary household microwave ovens are not dangerous.
They have very little "leaking" at the vents.
The "danger zone" is about 10-15 cm from the ventilation openings and from the edge of the oven door.
In practice, such "leakage" will not cause any damage even after many years of use.
People have done a good job.
Microwave ovens are not harmful or dangerous.
A whole prejudice and conspiracy theory was created in the public (at that time) around those household appliances.
Later, I did similar tests with GSM mobile phones.
Phones can be harmful if they are worn close to the head for most of the day or used excessively.
But the cause of the damage is layered, it is not only a consequence of radio waves.
Mostly, problems arise from the unnatural position of the hand, head, whatever during use.
For the last month or two I had/have terrible problems with my right upper arm and shoulder. Unbearable pains.
The day before yesterday I went to the doctor, received injections, the doctor prescribed me medicines and massage ointment.
                  What did it come from?
From excessive sitting at the PC computer and the unnatural position of the hand while holding the mouse.
Is it from the "radiation" of the monitor? Ha,ha,ha, of course not!
I'm smiling but I'm still in severe pain. Distracts my focus.

What is the point of the story?
People from ignorance can create strong prejudices and develop whole conspiracy theories about anything.
But... that doesn't mean that every story is pointless and that every suspicion is unfounded.
There is a lot that lies beneath the surface.
