Hopefully I have been paying attention , and so I have noticed very few People/Members asking about Service manuals for their test equipment . I think I have seen 2 to 3 requests in 2 to 3 years !!! A real bad thing that has been happening and I do not like , is people want to make money from service manual's they originally obtain for free
.......The good news is most people do not want to spend the money ,and they decide to wait !!!!! Because now older test equipment service manuals are finally leaking on to the internet from volunteer donations , without a charge. A "very kind" thing to do for low income or struggling "Smart Technicians" who need schematics to repair their test equipment , Or they live too far away to buy new Test equipment , So with a schematic they can repair what they have. Today I found "free" .....3 different "Leader Oscilloscope Service manuals with Schematics " 
........Unbelievable....I have been a "Leader" test equipment nut for years
..Since I am so Happy , for today anyway !!!!....I would like to see a thread started here on Geotech where people can post here "Free Of Charge" Oscilloscope Service Manuals with a Schematic. And also Test Equipment Schematics of power supplies with "over-current' auto shut-off . Also you can post different types of Signal genarator Schematics. Logic probes or schematics of Digital to analog "Oscilloscope probes" with actual real time scope readings. I see patent applications all over the web on this subject , to convert your analog scope to read Digital real-Time signals. So what I would like to see are two new threads : One is Oscilloscope Repair and the Service manual/schematics you will need . And the other will be "Build your own Basic Test Equipment". There have been a few small test equipment schematics posted on Geotech , but they are scattered all over !!! It would be nice to see them all together in one spot . Sorry about this long posting , But I am real excited I found a Schematic to my "leader" 15 mhz today!!!..I know the CRT is Perfect .....Anyway , this might help a lot , if everyone makes a Test equipment Service Manual/Schematic Posting...700 active members. 700 Big service manuals... Wow , I feel sorry for Carl , and his Geotech server now
.......One more final Item to share: Do not forget "Heathkit Electronics and test Equipment" The manufacturing and production has been , long Gone !!! But I think in my opinion "Heathkit" is now an American Legend that can never be replaced and the Schematics are priceless . And what I am going to say will make some people , Very Angry , but Heathkit Schematics , products , and kits belong to all Electronic Technicians/Engineers/hobbyists from past and present all over the world who built projects !!! I do not think it should belong to a "few people" selling their schematics and making profits and who do not care Anything about Electronics /test equipment /Ham Radio /Communications or anything "Electronic related" which benefit Engineers/ Technicians/Hobbyists.. ..............Thats all , sorry for the long post.............Eugene
