Build your own Test Equipment !!!

Thank-You ron_o , that is the best circuit I have seen so far . I need to check the availability and cost of the I.C. and the transformer . But most of the other parts are in my scrap pile................Regards..............Eugene

Build your own test equipment:- psu

      Hi Eugene

Take a look at ST Microelectronics L200 Adjustable Voltage and Current Regulator data sheet. It is far more versatile than the LM317 and can deliver up to 2 amps. The above datasheet shows example circuits. I built the variable psu circuit shown several years ago.
      Regards

Build your own Test Equipment !!!

Thank-You for posting the "Minimalist Oscilloscope" Fred , It brings back many memories for me . Years ago I owned a lot of tube-type equipment , from tube type oscilloscopes to many "Heathkits" and even had tube-type "Graymark" a.m. transmitter kits I bought and built , even had a "top of the line" V.T.V.M. , vacume tube volt meter . Some Memories can sure make the Altzheimers go away !!!!!....................Regards............Eugene

Build your own Test Equipment !!!

Thank-You again Carlos !!! Just when I think we have a good circuit , another good one gets posted !!! Did you post the complete article ?? I have 7 pages here 201-207 ?. Now I am looking up the I.C. numbers because this article is dated 1986...............Regards...............Eugene

Carlos , this last one you posted is the best !! It is in spanish , so if we need help we will contact you . Later when I have time , I will try to put this 6 page article into a new "PDF" folder for easy copying . We are now done with finding a function/signal generator !!! Next on our search will be for a schematic of a Good and Cheap "inductance meter" !!..............Regards....Eugene

                    Carlos

Hello everybody, this attachment to send them a circuit of an 8-channel switch to attach to a single-channel scope, so the scope is transformed into a scope with 2 channel, 4 channel and 8 channel. I do not build but sure that it works, says the article which is special for CMOS and TTL circuits.

Carlos , Hello again . Is this a 8 channel oscilloscope input adapter ?? Will it accept a standard oscilloscope probe for each input ? Say 50 a ohm impedance to 100 mhz probe ?? Do not forget "Inductance Meter Circuit" next "please" !!!.......Thank-You................Eugene

                          Saludos

                          Carlos

yes, what you say is correct, here the common cable used for each entry, only shielded cable with BNC to connect at the entrance and synchronism. If someone manages to better English than me, you could translate the article because it has no waste of the reader. when I have time I will, for a total of 4 channels because my new scope is a single channel. Inductances meter, but I did ever a need for a frequency with which the discovery was made Thomson the value of the inductor. That's why I buy a MASTECH MS-8222H.
                          Greetings

Very Nice !!! I see the schematic , the parts list and the photo of the other LCD project , but they do not give any prices !!! Like if you want to buy the PCB board of the 1st power supply ?? ...Thanks for posting Carlos................Eugene

Looking for a Cheap "LCR Meter Project" !!

Not too many "LCR Meter" schematics are floating around the internet . I found out that there is LCR meter information in a July 1998 issue of "Electronics Now" , photo is attached . I sure would like to see the article and the schematics , and also any other LCR projects . I guess they generate a frequency of 1 khz to calculate a unknown inductance or capacitance . Almost all circuits I have seen , use a PIC-Chip or similar controller. Anyone have a good LCR circuit schematic hidden somewhere ???................Regards..............Eugene
