Electronics Now article...on Ion Chambers

Hi,
seems this site have a good Electronics Now article on ion chambers and radon detectors.

You could made that radon detector if have a suspect basement...in your house.

The radon gas is a tricky and dangerous thing... and a serious health threat, so could be a nice idea make one of these things.

Sure, the article also explain how a detection of external radiations could be made (mostly Alpha particles) by ionic chambers, even air filled and roughly homemade... that could be used for other purposes... like monitoring e.g. emissions from granite stuff and the like... or even making an LRL for those how belive they works...

Anyway seems interesting to me, so I decided posting here for everyone.

Hi Max, I have the paper magazine. I build it without counter stage, but put beeps gen., you know for what.
