          Hi
Finally i did not order from Farnell.
I found at a local electronic shop the TL497A. About the same, more current but need at least 4.5v input. No problem.... i connected it with 4 rechargeable AA batteries and now i have the 16.5 v that i need plus a 9v stabilized.

                Dirceu here is the schematic.
To change the out voltage you must replace the R3.
                Vout= 1.2+R4(Kohm). So for 9v you need a 7.8K resistor.

                Regards

                    Geo, thanks.

Are you sure in given formula?

On schematic you have: 13,2V=R4 (1.2k)+R3(12k)

Then formula have to be: Vout(V)=1.2(V)+R3(kOhm)

                      Hi WM6
                      I made mistake between R3 and R4.
Yes you wrote the right formula.
                      Thanks

                        Help for calculation

                        Hi.
                        I attach a schematic of a converter from 12V to 24V.
I took the schematic from Texas Instruments datasheet and i made the calculations except Q2, R4 and R5.
Who can help me, so to calculate the R4,R5 and Q2??

                        Regards
