  • musketeer advantage charger

    Hi all
i have 110v musketeer charger and in my country the power source is 220v
the charger is 15v 100m. the problem is there is plenty of 15v but with higher
amper. my question is can i use a charger with same volt but higher amps?

i am waiting to your help

    kind regrads

I would say if the voltage is truly the same then it should work ok. The original charger has smaller windings and they would burn open quicker to protect the detectors internal wiring if you happen to have shorted battery cells. Just like a fuse.

100 mA is so named 'overnight charge mode'. ie it is safe mode for all type of accums. you certainly can use ANY charder with more charder current, but A TIME must be UNDER YOUR CONTROL - limited into time.
for examle, I use 2-3 A of charge current* for bad AA size elements, 2100-2500 mA*h, only trying back them to life... the time is very limited, I control a temperature via my hand. if it burns my hand I turn off the charger!

PS. * - do not use this forcing charge mode for lithium-ion battery!!! very dangerously! can see that in video -
