ive never really understood the whole rechargeable battery thing anyway
some swear by nicads some nmh and some rechargable alkaline i must have tried the lot in my scanners and handhelds and to be honest they are all sub standard compared to duracell/energizer non chargable alkaline
the real problem is voltage rating 1.2v and 1.5 in regular in a scanner this makes all the difference! i have however recently got l-ion and they do seem to work well though not as well as regular high power alkaline
with some of the bulk packs available here rechargeable are a false economy anyway for me ive never used rechargable pp3/pp9 so i could not comment on those
