Hi Lorenz,
I am not sure that nemfis can be considered as radar. It's standart coil-coil electromagnetic system for registration of HZ for fixed set of frequencies. So, horizontal resolution vs depth fall as other electromagnetic methods.

I dont see any reason why this is called Radar. This is most likely an EM device not to say a simple magnetic locator. And its all in Russian so good luck!
