Hi All. The pure practical question. The well knowning thing is that ground response is different on different frequencies of magnetic field produced by the coil. Too higher frequency have higher depth but also lower SNR because of ground, making the MD blind. Another known thing is that vendors produces coils with different inductivity for for different frequencies. For example, Tesoro made 4.5mH coils for 10-12kHz range, and only 1mH coils for 18-19kHz.
So, the question. Could someone share a graph or link that shows the ground responce on different frequences? Relative or absolute values. If applicablle at all, because ground types are very different.
p.s.
Why I am asking. I want to make experiment with Tesoro schematic and a high frequency like 40 or 50kHz. And I wonder which inductivity I need to make in the new coil. Also I wonder which current I need to use for the coil, but the current is a second-importance question because I can regulate it easily.
