What is the theory of operation?

It is a VLF instrument. Like the Geonics EM-16, but with a data logger. The technology was very popular in the 1970's for geophysical survey. GISCO sells the device and has a nice description of the capabilities.

How does your homebuild emfad work?
do you have to upload software to PICs. to make it work.?
if there is no problem in construction.
can you post pcb layouts .and component layouts .component list...etc
like in delta pulse.

my english is not good, that´s the problem.

no your english is much better than mine .and also most of forum users.be brave .
can you trace and sent your pcb drawings. and component list.
you can take their foto and write over it in paint program easyly.by this way you can make component lay out which can be easy build leader for hobbiessts like me.
I wonder ,is not there a software in emfad ,to make it work.how did you eliminate that problem.I mean in machine .written over PIC .
not pc program.

I use a C-Control, my own Interface-Software and Window´s-Driver and greate picture with Surfer Ver. 8.x

do you mean ,you build your emfad from ready kits.
did not you made your own pcb .just combine prepared parts.

did you contrsat it with original emfad12ug unit.
how their perpormances differ?

which one is better in detection.
and did you make dept tests with yours.
can it differ cavity ,non ferrous and ferrous metals.
does it have bad points.
