Have started this thread because I almost completed Earth Resistivity Meter
Published in EPE, Jan/Feb 1997.
I'm aware that the same magazine published another great project ->
Earth Resistivity Logger by John Becker (already made it)
but PIC used has only 10BIT resolution and that's not enough with small variations
of resistivity of subterranean manmade features.
Looks like other drawback of both circuits is relatively small voltage/current,
but still sufficent with normal moist earth.
I plan to hook-up the device with my logger-multimeter for first trials and probably
buy good 12 or 16BIT logger later if circuit shows enough stability.
P.S. I have two spare pairs hq-PCB's for ths project and I'm willing to send each pair for free.
For this matter interested members send request via private message.
For all others will post pcb files.
