GPR Rental

Does anyone have any recommendations for companies and systems to rent for GPR (ground penetrating radar). I am searching for near surface gold ore veins or alluvial deposits in highly mineralized soils and uneven areas (mountains) in the Rocky Mountains.

Will GPR work at all in these conditions or is this a waste of time and money?

Is there another technique someone would recommend besides a pick and shovel? I know from experience a magnetometer is hard pressed to use in these areas due to the highly mineralized soils and related hot rocks.

Highly mineralized soils are bad news for gpr technology. Do you have any idea or a rough estimate of the conductivity in the area? If so, then try to see if there's any chance for the gpr to work. You can use this free tool:
